Thailand is located in Southeast Asia, surrounded by Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. The Kingdom has a size of 513.115 km² and about 65 Mio. inhabitants. 83 % of them are Thais, 12 % are Chinese people, 3 % are Malaysians and about 2 % are Khmer or from other ethnical groups. The capital Bangkok has 10 Mio. inhabitants and is the largest city in Thailand.
